My name is Jola and I am creator and owner of “THE WHITE DRESSER” with a helping hand of my husband Luke, sons Joshua & Samuel and other family members. A real family business!
It all started in 2015 when we moved with our twin boys to New Milton, a lovely little town on the edge of The New Forest.
The first piece of furniture I painted was our dated pine bedroom furniture and from that moment onward I was hooked!!
I can tell you now it was far from perfect but I just loved every second. Since then it became a real passion of mine. Wherever I go I can see furniture which can be transformed into something unique and into something which can be loved again.
Over the last few years I have been painting more and more. Constantly improving my skills, trying different products, tools and eventually establishing my little business.
Our furniture is carefully sourced and is of the best quality. My husband “The Treasure Hunter” is always looking for classic and well made pieces.
There are two paints I use Fusion Mineral Paint which comes with a Smooth Matt finish , Zero VOC and built in top coat. The other paint being from The Little Greene Paint co which has a Intelligent Eggshell finish and a Intelligent Satinwood finish. Both paints are very hard wearing and durable. Paint is applied with a roller , so no brush strokes !
